Started out pretty sluggish because my legs felt very tight even after a proper warm up. Another run up cold water canyon then mixed it up a little and descended down the canyon from the south side on the bonneville shoreline trail. 1000+ feet of climbing and descent. Then I got on the roads for the last 4 miles and went from 6:00 down to 5:20. 7:30 -> 5:20
65 miles for the week! I think I’ll hover around 65-70 for a while, running 6 days a week. My body doesn’t respond too well to higher mileage, so I’ll stay at a number I’m comfortable with for a while. Also running 70 miles at altitude on the trails here is harder than you might think.
