4 mile tempo on Linear (6:36, 6:35, 6:45, 7:13). Warm-up and cool-down were a little longer just to get there. Wishing I could be running the meet and very aggravated I wouldn't be capable of racing even if I wanted to. Went into this one angry and headed off at a pace I knew was too hard, but every time my legs started hurting, I sped up a little bit, and every time my breathing started getting bad, I sped up a little bit more until I couldn't respond anymore and just dug in to finish as hard as I could...then I laid on the ground and waited for the world to stop spinning. Probably not the best way to do it, but it was the best workout I've had in a while and made me feel a little better about everything.
