Got up hecka early and drove to LFK for an 8k race - they did it like a cycling time trial, starting people one at a time every minute. I went out at 4:56 and just didn’t speed up. Ran 24:37, trying to make the last couple miles quick, but just couldn’t change gears. Head to head racing would be more fun, but this was ok.
