Okay meet today. Definitely hype to get 3rd place, and overall it was hot conditions and tough to push myself. Good stepping stone for the rest of the season though. Excited for this weekend and getting some inspiration!!

Tougher progression today, legs just felt sluggish, was pretty consistent at 6:15 and ended sub 6.

Tempo, 6x1K. Overall really happy with my effort and times today, and improvement from last week. This was definitely a tough workout but I think getting out hard helped me to keep pace. Also Graue is a great workout spot.

Wake up call of a meet for me. Honestly a gut punch after having such perfect conditions. After putting in great work these past weeks and the summer it was definitely a let down. Need to work on the last mile of my races, and staying alive throughout the race, not losing check with people. Thanks to everyone and coach for all the birthday hype!!

5x1K workout. Hit my 3:17 pace every time, and the 200s were fun after. Great workout, ready for Saturday.

Long run, had to stop to take a crap at the regular entrance, and finished strong with Walter.

Tempo fast workout today. I’m super happy with my splits and overall time of 35:37. I got faster every mile/tempo and had a great group with Ian and Justin which made it a lot easier to push myself when it got tough. Will need to rest up this weekend.

10 min tempo, then 5x1K at KLM. Started out as a great workout averaging 3:17 for the first 3 reps. Unfortunately faded significantly for the last 2 reps. I really need to work on pushing through that, which is a repeat issue from the meet. Can’t be going 8 seconds slower on the last rep, doesn’t matter if I’m by myself.
