49 second PR today!! Sub 20 felt amazing today. I was really sick but I tried not to think about that and I knew I wanted to get out hard. Kyle, William and I said we’d try and pack up, and immediately after getting out hard William and I stuck together and went through the mile in 6:11. Started freaking out because I knew it was fast and passed William and saw Eito. Worked well to get in stricking distance on my kick but Eito sped up and dropped a Sandburg kid. I got him with about 600m to go and out kicked him and Pierce right at the line. Feels like everything is going well as we get ready for conference. I also ran my 2 mile PR, and this race has shown me that I have to learn how to run the mile better because how have I not PR’d in that since UTL???
