2 mile TT. Actually I’m ok with how it went. Running alone was hard and wind didn’t make it easier. I went out too hard, but that’s ok, I settled into a pace (not the one I wanted, but still), and closed well. Mentally the first mile was a lot easier bc I was working on catching up to and passing Eito. As my mileage increases and it all starts to click things will improve. Also very difficult to complain when I’m coming from 14:43. Can’t complain with a 2 minute 30 second pr!!!

4x800 lead off today, 1600, and 4x400. Today was rough, but I learned a lot. The 800, was just bad, I felt gassed at lap two and went through in 75, instead of 70, and finished in 2:28. Then I think doing so badly in that (compared to what I wanted), made me feel like I had to give the mile everything which helped mentally. I got out ok, just once again a little timid. I tried passing once and it felt so difficult, so I just sat at the back of the pack. With 2 to go, made my move but I think with 50 to go, it started to all unravel, and I got passed. If I’m gonna stay close to the left of the lane I gotta be more in front and move with more authority. 4x400 was a 65.9, and if I had just gotten out harder it would have been so much better. I’m gonna work on being more present with what’s happening in the race next time, get out harder, and rlly push myself mentally. I don’t want to feel like I held something back a bit after the race like I did in the 4x400. Shoutout the Akhil, Walter, Ian, and Kyle. Really helped me a lot either this week or today when I needed to refocus. Oh and also learned that you gotta double knot spikes 🤦🏾♂️.
