Conference meet. Overall feeling pretty content. Yes I’m disappointed I wasn’t able to run a great time and most of the meets, but I’m just thankful that I was able to run at all. I ran a 20:44 which for my fitness right now I’m happy with. My goal going into this race was breaking 21 so I’m happy that I was able to do that. Also Im proud because I felt like i pushed myself during the race because after I looked at my watch and it said I had an average heart rate of 193 which is really high for me. In the end I’m glad I was able to get at least one race in senior year and I’m thankful to all the coaches and all of my teammates for pushing me and believing in me the pash 4 years of cross country. I still remember my first day of summer running freshman year and how much I struggled starting out but now I’ve improved so much that I never would have thought possible back then. I’m really looking forward to track this year because running that race today reminded me how much fun it is to run and I’m really looking forward to it. Also NXR should be fun.

35 minute elliptical then pasta party going to run conference tomorrow but sadly can run it as fast as I can because the doctor still doesn’t want me going that fast which is a disappointment but at least I’m running so that’s something

2 mile run then wanted to try out the bike didn’t like it so only did 10 minutes of that and finished up doing 30 on the elliptical totaling to 55 minutes

Visited Devin, Cubbin and Melkus with Rogers and Kasra at Madison was really fun. Great to catch up with all of them. Also got a nice tour of the campus. Arrived Saturday afternoon and stayed till Sunday Afternoon.

Did a 2 mile run for 15 minutes then did 45 minutes on the elliptical

Did 20 minutes treadmill run at 7 mph then 40 on the elliptical. Treadmill feels really weird to run on especially the first few minutes, kinda got used to it at the end but it’s still going to take time till it feels normal again.

Elliptical workout had to shorten it so I would make the meet. Workout was 10 minutes warm up 8 by 3 minutes hard 1 minute rest the 5 minutes cooldown. Afterwards went to meet which was fun.
