Morning run with Sean, Ayush, and Otis. 3 mi warmup, 2x400 at 1600 pace, 2x400 at 3200 pace, 1 mi cooldown. Stretching beforehand helped my ankle I think so that was good, but maybe too much rest because the 3200 pace ones felt too easy. Good luck to TT and meet guys!

15 min warmup, 2 laps of 50 walk, accel, sprint, and decel, plyo, speed ladder, dynamics, and 40 min run cut short because of a sharp pain in my ankle that would just not go away. Need to get that checked out

Long run today. First hour was outside and last 20 were on the treadmill. Fitness is definitely getting better again but this was still more difficult than I expected considering the pace I was going and the pace I know I can do. Got it done tho and finished out

Workout day. Stough warmup, dynamics, 1200 at 3200 race pace, jog 400, 400 at 1600 race pace, 10 min cooldown. Could not do another set because cold air - need to also bring warmer gloves for these kinds of workouts. 1200 was in 4:44 (6:18 pace which is about right) and 400 was 92 (6:07 pace - way slow)

Little 4 meet to kick off the season. Ran 2:34 for the 4x800 and kept our lead until reda decided to lock in - I probably could have done better if I had someone in front to help pace. Ran 5:38 for the mile - really thought I was going to pr for this one since I was pushing myself the whole time and competing but no cigar. Overall quite dissatisfied with this but I’m glad I learned that I need to hydrate more before the meet because my mouth was a desert during the 4x8.

Warmup, stough loop w 45 sec tempo 15 sec jog and repeat, 6x400m w first half 2 mi pace second half 1 mi pace, cooldown. Despite being pain I feel like I’ve been getting better at executing workouts so that it’s not so hard that I’m half dead and not so easy that feel like I can do more. 2.66 mi tempo in 19:14 - 7:13 avg pace 400 times - 91, 89, 97, 83, 82, 82
