Time trial. I think I did a good job pacing and then finishing strong but I felt terrible for the third mile.

Almost great tempo fast. Splits were 5:45, 5:48, 6:28, 5:41, 6:23, 5:23. Had I taken that first tempo split a little slower I think I would’ve had a much better workout. I should have taken the other tempos a little faster but I really wanted to get better fast splits rather than burn out after the 5:48. Overall got a good workout in and there’s always room for improvement. 35:32 is a big improvement from last tempo fast but that’s not really saying much considering how bad that workout was.

St. Charles race today. Went 17:03 and got 8th. Not a great result but I honestly think my race prep, strategy and effort were good for the whole race. I think this result reflected more on my training for the past week or two. I need to be practicing with the people I want to race with. Hill strategy felt great

Whole group got out very fast to pace the 6 mile up tempo group. I went out a little too fast to really progress but I still think I got a good workout in. Splits were 6:23, 6:22, 6:17, 6:13, 6:11, 6:15, 6:10 and 5:57.
