Little 3 mile progression run after a 1 mile warmup to Graue. Did these three miles decently fast although I think I could’ve gone faster if I had done proper stretching, hydration and nutrition before. Didn’t really eat much before this run so I was probably under-fueled. Anyways was so gassed after the Graue loop I wanted to take it easy and walk back since I wanted to regain a bit of energy for the martial arts. Came back home and didn’t have much strength to carry the weights for punching but without them I felt the force of my punches was much stronger than a few days ago when they were feeling weak and my kicks were on point. Anyways splits for the progression were: 8:05, 6:41, 6:27, 6:06. Next time I think I’ll attempt something akin to a tempo fast so I can help build some discipline into my speed and control myself a bit more.
